It could be possible for an adult to have one - but so far they've only manifested in teenagers or pre-teens. And in one notable case, an animal.

You're not the first person to mention something like that. Does your Metaverse always exist?

I've never not summoned it with the Evoker, so yes. The only times I've seen a Persona show up without one was to attack their user.

As unbelievable as it sounds, yes. One of our team mates is a dog; he's otherwise normal, if exceptionally loyal, but can summon a Persona.

He experienced the Dark Hour as we did, and defended his deceased owner's shrine from a Shadow attack.

Forgive me, but while I'm a user, that world is mysterious and largely unknown. While I can make assumptions based on personal experience, it's nothing without data to back it up and I hesitate to claim something is a fact.

But if you're to ask my personal opinion-

Yes, it likely exists at all hours, even if some are left unaware of its presence their whole lives.

There are a lot of people who've never noticed the Dark Hour, but it doesn't exist outside of that specific extra hour. We know the date it came into existence, actually. We also know Personas and Shadows existed before that, though not in such great numbers.

Either we're from different worlds with similar histories, or perhaps the Dark Hour and the Metaverse exist at the same time and neither of us ever found both.

[ Maybe that means they stop the Dark Hour, if no one else is mentioning it. ]

Someone who visited the Metaverse through a television - it's impossible to parse what may or may not exist at once, in tandem or realities apart with only a vague relation. ]

It's a curious matter. One I'm deeply concerned about - if they all exist at the same time, that's two different ways someone can operate outside of society's rules and do untold damage.

I get the concern, though there's plenty of ways to operate outside of society's rules that don't involve time or cognitive manipulation.

[ Those are big words for Akihiko, but it's clear he's heard them before. He's also thinking of Kirijo group; how Takeharu-san's father had been the one to conduct the experiment that created the Dark Hour, and with all his money and power, no one had stopped him until people died. ]

Still, it's exactly as you said - it causes untold damage. We've actually had people use the Dark Hour to move about and hurt people before.
